Condition : Stretch Marks

Stretch marks are caused by a spontaneous tearing of the deep dermis layer of certain skin areas. When they appear, they form lesions similar to long scars. At first, the colour of the lesions is lilac (upon the breaking of the skin’s fibres) before turning white over time. Stretch marks are very common and appear mostly after pregnancy, or important and fast weight gains or losses. Close to 80% of women have stretch marks on the belly, arms, buttocks, thighs, and breasts.

Unfortunately, stretch marks are irreversible and can’t be eliminated. However, there are solutions to smooth out their appearance. It is recommended to combine several types of treatments. Using radiofrequency-based treatment with serums allows reducing the stretch marks’ width, reddish colour, and texture.
