The concept behind the MicroPen EVO is to trigger a wound healing response in the body. When the 14 tiny needles of the MicroPen EVO cartridge puncture the skin to the depth appropriate for your particular skin condition, they create microscopic channels down through the epidermis. The wounds are microscopic and are surrounded by untouched, healthy tissue, which immediately helps in the healing of the adjacent punctures. The power and precision of the MicroPen EVO can create more than 1,000 micropunctures per second!
What makes the MicroPen EVO even more exciting is its ability to increase skin absorption of serums by more than 80%. These can indeed cross the barrier of the skin through the tens of thousands of channels open in the epidermis. While the skin usually only allows about 10% of serums to penetrate due to the volume of their molecules.
How is the treatment done?
We recommend applying a numbing cream 20 minutes before a treatment to make it more pleasant. The areas to be treated are then disinfected and freed from lotions, creams and make-up.
An active serum is applied to the skin before passing the MicroPen EVO.
The duration of a session is 15 to 20 minutes. As for the depth of the treatment, it is determined according to the areas to be treated.
The face is usually pink or red after the treatment, but this fades within hours. Sun exposure is not recommended in the days following the treatment.
To further enhance the results, the session ends with a phototherapy treatment using the Celluma biomodulation device. Its LED lights regenerate skin cells, reduce inflammation and enhance collagen creation and skin radiance.

Is the treatment painful?

How many sessions are required?
For optimal results, a series of four to six treatments spaced four to six weeks apart is recommended. For people with significant skin problems, such as deep acne marks or stretch marks, six to eight sessions performed four weeks apart are recommended.
What are the costs?
In order to optimize the results, the MicroPen EVO treatment includes a session of phototherapy using the Celluma biomodulation device. The cost per session varies according to the number of areas to be treated. On average, the facial treatment costs around $280.
